Thank you for your purchase from Longfellow’s Coffee. We hope you’re happy with your order — but if not, we’ll do our best to make it right. In most cases, you may return eligible items for a refund, store credit, or exchange. Please note: If your item was purchased online, you must request a return before sending any items back to us.
Please review the return guidelines based on how you placed your order:
Online Store Orders (Shipped to You)
- Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of your purchase date.
- Items must be new, unused, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.
Returning Coffee
If you’re not satisfied with your fresh-roasted coffee, we’ll refund the full purchase price upon return of the unused product.
Returning Food & Beverage Products
Items like tea, chai, or syrup must be returned unopened in their original manufacturer packaging to qualify for a refund.
Returning Equipment
- Returns must be requested within 7 days of receiving the item.
- Non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- If the item is defective, you may need to contact the manufacturer directly. Refunds, exchanges, or repairs will follow their terms.
To request a return, email returns@longfellowscoffee.com or call 201-762-2990 ext. 9 within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your Order Number and reason for return. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions for shipping the item back.
- Approved returns must be shipped prepaid within 30 days.
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of inspection.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective item. Returns that are not received in original condition may be subject to a partial refund at our discretion.
Online Orders for In-Store Pickup
If you’re not satisfied with an item picked up in-store after ordering online, we’ll refund your purchase in the original payment method.

If we can’t fulfill an item in your online order and no suitable replacement is available, we’ll automatically refund that item to your card.
In-Person Store Purchases
Returns for in-store purchases are accepted for a full refund to the original payment method.
- If a receipt is not present at the time of return, the associate may ask you to complete a brief return form.
- The associate will not be able to search for the original transaction on-site. The transaction will be located through our backend system after the return form is submitted.
- Once the original transaction is confirmed, the refund will be issued to the same payment method used at the time of purchase, unless an alternative method is agreed upon by both you and store management.

Third-Party Delivery Orders
Please refer to the return policy of the delivery platform you used (e.g., Uber Eats, DoorDash) for refund and replacement requests.
Refund Timing
Refunds may take several business days to appear depending on your bank or card issuer. If you haven’t received your refund after 7–10 business days:
- Check with your bank or credit card provider.
- Contact your bank to confirm processing times.
- If issues persist, contact us at returns@longfellowscoffee.com or call 201-762-2990 ext. 9.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Please note that the following items are not eligible for return:
- Gift cards
- Digital/downloadable products
- Opened personal care, sanitary, or intimate items
- Hazardous materials or flammable goods
Exchanges
If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us to arrange a replacement or exchange. Exchanges are available for the same item only and must be requested within 7 days of receiving the item. Email returns@longfellowscoffee.com or call 201-762-2990 ext. 9.
