Sadly, Bruce passed away in 2016, but the popularity of Longfellow’s Coffee in Kinnelon continued to grow. In November 2018, we expanded to Mahwah, NJ—a walk-in location where customers can grab-and-go or stay and hang. While not a drive-thru, Mahwah offers the space to prepare food, pastries, and beverages for both locations, expanding the menu at our original kiosk.
At both stores, our variety of lattes, smoothies, and cold brews is ever-growing—driven by culinary creativity and customer requests. Jordan, a former chef, is known for crafting exciting new flavor combinations. We embrace individuality, and nearly everything on the menu can be customized to suit dietary preferences or allergies. You’ll always find your favorites, plus seasonal creations.
Mahwah also features an extended food menu and displays from local artists, adding a touch of community and creativity to the space.

Longfellow’s Coffee began in 2004 as a 7’ x 17’ drive-thru kiosk in Kinnelon, NJ, founded by Bruce Jed and his son Jordan—a culinary school graduate and former chef. It quickly became the area’s go-to spot for both a morning cup of coffee and an afternoon pick-me-up.
Its success came from a simple commitment: deliver exceptional customer experiences through high-quality coffee and tea with fast, friendly service—a promise that still holds true today.
From the start, Longfellow’s did things differently. The kiosk has no speaker box—it’s quicker to take orders in person. That way, a quick coffee order isn’t stuck behind multiple lattes and a smoothie. The menu offers a wide range of beverages and snacks, all served with speed and a smile.
Over the years, the menu has grown to include fresh-baked pastries, breakfast and lunch items, and the popular all-natural Whole Fruit Smoothies. Today, Longfellow’s Coffee serves over 325 vehicles a day and remains a beloved stop in the Kinnelon community.
